Confession: Ooh, it’s Saturday! The sunset a bit ago was spectacular! It was a glorious day! Let’s do a list, shall we?

  • Up in digital 3D from Pixar, of course, was amazing. I cried more times than I care to share. Such a wonderful film. Go see it!
  • Oh, and it had several little secret shout-outs to Oakland! Hurrah! Those are always the best!
  • M bought me (another) birdie dress at H&M. A blue one in the softest cotton.
  • I think I’m a newly christened Korres whore. I bought their silver eyeshadow and plum lip balm. Dreamy.
  • The Celluloid Closet is on PBS and is as fantastic as ever. I love this documentary!
  • I’m baking one of those new Newman’s Own pizzers. I hope it’s tasty! I lightly brushed the crust with garlic-infused olive oil for a little extra something.
  • Do you see the photo where I’m kneeling on a leather chaise? And there’s a creepy hand that looks like it’s plucking me up? The 8th floor is a strange place.

    I’ve fallen so, so hard for Korres–I got two of their powder blushes (peach and pink), the pomegranate lip butter (heavenly), and the vitamin E face primer (makes my skin velvety perfection). Guess I’d better go check out their eye shadows…

    Jen: Partially, I cheated and wore jeans to see the movie, because, you know, bare legs on movie seat = NAST.

    MlleJ: ZOMG, so good to know you love it, too, because you have crazy gorgeous skin. Korres is so friendly and the shadow did not crease all day, not through wind nor sun nor rigorous sexing (sorry, full disclosure in the interests of beauty science)!

    I picked up the plum eyeshadow…I’m indeed in love. I did neglect to mention the cherry lip gloss that I always have. I like the color (natural purple, I think, and what a weird color name as it’s definitely not purple) but it is super sticky and the packaging sucks–it leaks like crazy.

    How gooooood does this stuff smell?? I’ve never had some pretty AND yummy-smelling make-up.
