CONFESSION: Y’all, this weekend was one big, dreamy, fantastical doozy! The hilarious thing is that M & I were hemming and hawing and grumbling about how we had all these plans, one after the other, back-to-back and nonstop when all we really wanted to do was stay home in our p/manties, eat prosciutto out of the box with fancy cheese and watch Grey’s Anatomy. But we sucked it up and ended up having a ton of fun.

What: H&M dress, flower barrette by Tiny Sparkles. Grey patent platform pumps by Nine West. Scarf from an Old San Juan boutique.

Confession: I was only briefly dressed today – I got up for work only to narrowly miss appx. 2 hrs. of 0 mph traffic because of a disabled tractor-trailer and ended up calling in. So I undressed, and after a lot of quiet and Mad Men and many magazines and a very, very, very long bath I decided to try and get dressed again. It lasted perhaps 45 minutes. M insisted on capturing it before I gave up and climbed back into sweats, so here we are.

Tomorrow we’ll see, I suppose, how I do with finding an outfit that goes from working the Obama phone bank to a friend’s birthday dinner party, as they are scheduled back-to-back! Of course, if you’ve been paying attention, there will also be before and after pics from Conor’s v. exciting grooming visit.
