When: Thursday, Oct. 2nd, 2008.
What: H&M yoga pants, black cotton tank by Michael Stars. Barrette by Tiny Sparkles.
Confession: This was a very long day. M & I were up til nearly 2am last night watching Mad Men. My boss came back to work from his PTO today, the bastard.
All I could think about was coming home, ordering a fancy pizza, and playing drinking games whilst catching the liveblog on BCP during tonight’s debate.
The day stretched on and on, alas. When I finally did get home, I threw on some comfy clothes, settled in, helped the petite with her homework and waited for M to get home. As soon as M came home she said that they make me look like a dancer, which makes me smile, yes, even through the vapid, perfumed fog that is words coming out of that hag Palin’s mouth. I credit 100% cotton with keeping me from throwing my wine glass at the tele tonight.
Tell me the look on my face here doesn’t say, “Bitch, please.”

When: Sunday, June 29th, 2008.
What: Black Michael Stars cotton tank, organic, dry-aged denim jeans by James Cured by Seun. Nocona boots. Leo the pony provided by Chanslor Ranch.
Confessions: I was a naughty and stripped off my thin black sweater, scarf and vintage leather motorcycle jacket after a trot on the beach with the horse. The sun came out of nowhere and it was suddenly gorgeous and I was suddenly very warm, so I shed the layers quickly, keeping the reigns in my teeth. (OK, I’m kidding about the last part, but I did strip.)

I have been a neglectful mother to my new raiment baby and I apologize. I was too busy lunching and sexing and watching the new SATC movie (outfit was FABULOUS, but I forgot my camera) to make any new entries, and work has been hellish. Last night I was at a fabulous restaurant in a fabulous dress for a work function, but was reticent to be caught by colleagues photographing myself in dark corners adjacent to the bar. Awkward.
When: Wed., June 18th, 2008
What: Black wide-leg trousers by Express, black tank by Michael Stars, seashell cap sleeve shrug with silver sequin hearts by Jenny Han and silver and black shoes by Hollywould for Target. Ring from Laundry by Shelli Segal.
Confession: This whole look was inspired by an ancient DKNY ad. By ancient I mean Spring ’08, I think. Whatever. The model is wearing this bathing suit with a pair of slacks and she is on a bike:

Tomorrow. More. I swan.
